Heidi loves ducks. Really truly loves them! 'Duck' was her first word and any time she sees them she gets all giddy and excited!
So trying to tear her away from watching these ducks down at the river yesterday was almost impossible.
But we had a fantastic day enjoying some rare winter sunshine. Then when it got cool we came home and made some Anzac biscuits and bread...overall a fantastic way to spend the public holiday together!

Isn't she too adorable - I can't get over how big she's getting!
My son, when he was very small, loved the word duck...he liked to rhyme with it. Unfortunately, he'd go through the alphabet til he got to the 'f' and liked the reaction he got so much, I had a heck of a time stopping him from saying it! Parenting is not for sissies, that's for sure, lol...
